Dr. Donna Strickland record history in the Nobel Price.

Congratulation Dr. Donna Strickland, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at #UWaterloo, is one of three scientists to win this year's Nobel Prize in Physics. 

She became the third woman in history — and the first woman in 55 years — to win the Nobel Prize in Physics.

The other two women were Marie Curie and Maria.
She said "upon hearing the news. “Hopefully in time it will move forward at a faster rate. I am honored to be one of those women".

Harrison Harrison wrote an amazing piece for his best friend on her birthday.

Harrison is a young graduate of the department of food and processing engineer. A well known and handsome gentleman. Well, since school days Harrison has had one best friend and today happened to be her birthday.

"-------------Happy Birthday Bestie--------------

 It’s another big year darling . How exciting is that? I have so much to say, but I don’t know if I can condense it into one page of simple words.

I sure am gonna try though. Giftie, I want you to know how important you really are to me. I know I say it all the time, but it just seems like I don’t make my point clear enough.

I can’t stress it enough to you that you really are my best friend. You are something out of this world Giftie. You are one of the most intelligent young woman  I have ever met, not to mention sweet, kind-hearted, happy, hilarious, loving, and absolutely beautiful. You have a heart of gold and a personality that should be cherished and preserved in a glass box.

You have such an amazing effect on me and my life daily. Failing to acknowledge you throughout the seven getting to eight years you've been simply a sister I never had,  my strong motivator, you came and made me understand you were my sister since inception. You make me laugh when all I want to do is cry. Your smile is as contagious as the flu even when that is what keeps are cheek lighten and whenever you’re sad I feel like I should be too.

You really are an absolutely incredible individual. I have never in my whole life been so lucky and proud to have someone like you. You, and only you, are my best friend. You’re my sister in all ways. I have lost so much in my life, including friends and the only sibling I had, but through that storm you stood by me and gave me all I needed at that point in my life. God gave me that I thought I would never lose, and now I have you.

When I’m with you, it feels like I know I’ll never lose you as a best friend and all my problems and stress just melt away. Happiness is what you bring to everyone hun. You are unlike anyone I have ever met. There’s just something about you that draws people close to you and make them want to trust you. I know you would never lie to me or keep anything from me. Our friendship is perfect which makes me so happy. It seems as though we were meant to be family but none the less, no one tempers with God's plan and I’m glad we’ve finally figured that out because I don’t think I would make it through college of Engineering without you.

You are my shoulder to cry on and my arm to lean on and I am the same for you. There are not that many people in my life that I would die for, but when it comes to you I would die a million times over if that was what you wanted me to do. You are the best, best friend anyone could ever ask for and I appreciate everything about you.

Thank you so much Giftie, for everything you do for me. I’m ridiculously lucky to have you and I can’t wait to see what our friendship brings in the future. I love you so much Giftie. I hope your birthday and every other day is perfect. Best of luck in all that you do, and remember that I am always here for you no matter what. Love Always,

Most people have got the wrong impression about challenges letting go of the knowledge that challenges are meant to make you rather than mar.

Most times, if you're able to fight through the challenging times even when you lose. You become the stronger than ever, when a similar situation of such cross paths with you, you'll have a better way of handling the situation.
And, if you happen to venture into another circumstances that seems tougher, you'll courage yourself to go through it because you overcome the other so this one isn't tough enough to overcome you.

BREAKING NEWS ....... *Anambra School Girls Win Gold in World Technovation Challenge in US*....

*Anambra School Girls Win Gold in World Technovation Challenge in US*....

The five Anambra girls from Regina Pacies Secondary School Onitsha who represented Nigeria and Africa  at the World Technovation Challenge in the Silicon Valley in San Francisco, US last night have won the Gold Medal in the contest.

The team, led by Uchenna Onwuamaegbu Ugwu defeated representatives of other technological giants including the USA, Spain, Turkey, Uzbekistan and China to clinch the gold medal.

The Anambra girls who have now become Africa's Golden Girls is made up of five brilliant girls including

1 Promise Nnalue
2 Jessica Osita
3 Nwabuaku Ossai
4 Adaeze Onuigbo
5 Vivian Okoye

The world champions who are reported to be attracting a lot of attention in the world's greatest technological hub won the Challenge with a mobile application called the FD-Detector which they developed to help tackle the Challenge of fake pharmaceutical products in Nigeria.

Under the tutelage of Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu the CEO of Edufun Technik STEM, the Golden Girls spent five months researching and developing FD-Detector which swept through over 2000 competing applications to get to the finals in San Francisco.

Technovation is a programme that offers girls around the world the opportunity to learn the programming skills they need to emerge as tech-entrepreneurs and leaders.

 Every year, girls are invited to identify a problem in their communities, and then challenge them to solve them by developing Andriod applications that would address those problems.

115 countries participated in the qualifiers but only 12 teams from all over the world were selected as finalists for the pitch in Silicon Valley.

The girls will also be attending Field trips, life-changing workshops including a networking session during their one week stay in USA.

The Governor of Anambra State,Chief Willie Obiano had personally sent them off to the US in a brief ceremony at the last Executive Council Meeting where he charged the girls to put Nigeria and Africa on the global technological map with their rare talent.
